MEF provides scholarships to 7th and 8th grade students for their educational trips to Springfield, Illinois, and Washington, D.C. These trips offer valuable learning experiences about the state and national government, history, and culture.
Additionally, we offer Lincoln-Way High School Alumni Scholarships to students who have attended Mokena 159 schools, supporting them in their pursuit of higher education and college goals.
Students can download applications below to be considered.

Each year, MEF awards grants to Mokena 159 educators and staff for projects and resources that fall outside the school's regular budget — the kind of enrichment that makes a real difference in the classroom by creating transformative learning experiences.
Recent grants have funded a 3D printer for the Junior High tech program, a STEAM Family Night at MES with the DuPage Children's Museum, decodable book libraries for early readers at MES, flexible seating to improve classroom engagement, a new FitnessGram record board for PE, and the Junior High's annual Geography Bee.
Are you a Mokena 159 educator with a project idea? Contact us or your administration to apply for a grant today.
